Over a year ago, I thought our living room was finished. I wrote a long post explaining all that we’d done to the room (including the detours along the way that didn’t quite work), and I was so happy with the result.

ouiBut a while ago I was sitting in one of the chairs and got a wild hair to add some color to the window wall. I immediately ordered a host of wallpaper samples online and then, within two weeks, the wall was covered with this print. (I’m always amazed by the great wallpapers available at the Home Depot and Lowes — you don’t have to spend a lot to get great quality.)

What do you think? It isn’t for everyone, but I love it! This final touch helps focus the eye on the window seat, and the colors tie in the accent wall. I think it makes the room feel happier.
